Two New Contact Sheets and Enlargement Session No. 2
Archived Sheet of film - It's a bit dark, so i might have over exposed it, although I'm not quite sure.
It contains my second attempt at the depth of field assignment as well as another potential for the Through a Viewfinder assignment.
Tester sheets for one of the contact sheets
Tester sheet for the other contact sheet
I mostly wanted to do this contact sheet just to see what they would look like. This was my first attempt at the Through a Viewfinder assignment- taking a walk with my family while I was home, while I don't think it has quite the narrative I want, I still really enjoyed the photos.
Contact sheet for the depth of field retake as well as other experimentation. I can see that there's something not right, whether it was the shots themselves or the contact sheet, it both looks underexposed and overexposed. It was still nice to be able to see the shots regardless.
Tester sheets for the fourth enlargement I did, from right to left it reads as 8 seconds, 4 seconds and then 2 seconds, which I went with for the enlargement.
Did quite a few tester sheets for the first and second enlargements of the depth of field - after testing, I settled on 8 seconds which is the middle sheet.
This was the last enlargement, I'm not sure why I've decided to show this one first. I mostly wanted to do this enlargement just because I could, I really enjoyed this photo with how it lined up as well as having most of my family in it. I believe it's slightly overexposed, but at the time I didn't mind much, I just wanted an enlargement of this one for me.
Enlargement of one of the depth of field studies, I noticed that there was a line at the top that was not meant to be there, I couldn't see it in the negative, although later I realized it was the negative not being in the cartridge fully straight
I tried to do it again, without knowing what my error was, and who would have guessed, I made the same error, I think I prefer the first one.
This is my third enlargement, where I fixed the issue.
